Derek joins the PH&C team in Nov 2024 and brings over 15 years of leadership and expertise in construction and project management, with a proven track record of managing high-value projects across various sectors. His extensive experience includes overseeing multi-million-dollar developments, managing teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. As Vice President of Construction at a real estate development company, Derek spearheaded the creation and growth of the construction division, overseeing all operational aspects and delivering strategic results. He has also led construction operations and field teams at prominent companies, including Ryan Homes and Toll Brothers, where he developed a reputation for meticulous planning, strong financial oversight, and strategic problem-solving. Passionate about quality and client satisfaction, Derek also draws on his background in sports, bringing discipline, teamwork, and a results-driven focus to every project. With a hands-on approach to managing every project phase including pre-construction scope development, value engineering, close-out and post-construction reviews, Derek is committed to achieving operational excellence and fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Derek is a proud graduate of Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
